We have found that nothing equals the flavor and nutrition of whole grain hearth bread made from freshly milled organic wheat flour. The wheat berries that we select often come from regenerative farms that seek to enrich the soil with their cultivation practices rather than deplete it, increasing the nutritional density of the grain in the process. That’s the foundation of these substantial 2 lb. loaves of whole grain goodness that contain ALL of the vitality and nutrients present in flour that was milled only minutes before use. Oxygen has no chance to turn any part of the flour into something you don’t want. Nothing is stripped, bleached, treated with chemicals or adulterated with preservatives. God gave us grains that supply many of the nutrients that we need. Why would we “refine” such a gift by removing most of what makes it good for us just to extend its shelf life in the stores? Our customers are far too important for us to treat them like that.

Bread is baked for Monday and Friday evening handoff. Because there are no preservatives in our recipes, slice and freeze what you don’t think you will eat in 2 days. Store the bread in its original packaging to help maintain freshness on the counter. It is recommended to use a sealable freezer bag for any portion frozen for future use.
