Delivery Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Porter Abbot Mill & Hearth offers limited local delivery for eligible orders and addresses.
Delivery Area
Delivery is available only within the service area shown at checkout. Eligibility may depend on the delivery address, delivery date, order total, route capacity, and products ordered.
Entering an address on the website does not guarantee delivery eligibility unless a delivery option is presented and accepted during checkout.
We do not ship orders through the mail or common carriers at this time.
Delivery Charges
Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed before the order is submitted. Delivery charges may vary by area, order amount, or delivery schedule.
Delivery Schedule
The date or time shown at checkout is an estimated delivery window rather than a guaranteed appointment time unless we specifically confirm otherwise.
Route order, traffic, weather, road closures, and other circumstances may affect the time of arrival.
Address and Access Information
Customers are responsible for providing:
- A complete and accurate delivery address
- Apartment, suite, or unit numbers
- Gate codes or access instructions
- A current telephone number
- Any directions needed to identify the correct entrance or delivery location
Porter Abbot Mill & Hearth is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect address, missing access information, an inaccessible property, an unrestrained animal, or another condition beyond our reasonable control.
Contactless Delivery
Unless a handoff is specifically arranged, an order may be left at the front door or another reasonably safe and weather-protected location at the delivery address.
Delivery is considered complete when the order has been handed to the customer or left at the address and location supplied by the customer.
Customers should retrieve delivered orders promptly. Porter Abbot Mill & Hearth cannot be responsible for theft, animals, insects, weather exposure, heat, moisture, freezing, or other damage occurring after delivery has been completed.
Failed Delivery
When delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, lack of access, unsafe conditions, or inability to locate the delivery point, we will attempt to contact the customer.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be asked to:
- Pick up the order at an approved location
- Pay an additional delivery charge for another attempt
- Accept delivery during a later available route
Delivery charges are generally not refundable when the delivery attempt was made using the information supplied with the order.
Weather and Other Delays
Delivery may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled when travel conditions are unsafe or an unexpected event prevents delivery.
When Porter Abbot Mill & Hearth cancels an order or cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the affected portion of the order will be refunded.
Questions about delivery may be sent to welcome@porterabbot.com.
